Welcome to the Tau Rangers new blog
Dear Readers,
We would like to welcome you to the new Rangers Blog page.
We will be updating you with news from Tau Game Lodge on a monthly basis.
Let’s start by introducing the team – our photos are included below.
At the moment, the big talk in Madikwe is of rain. This time of year is our rainy season, and usually by early March, the dams are full and the dust has settled, but we are still waiting for the big down pours. While this is a concern, it does make for exceptional game viewing, as lots of animals are still coming to the big water points to drink. We are regularly seeing huge herds of elephants around Tau’s waterhole, along with kudu, zebra, warthog, impala and waterbuck. On the 17th February we were even lucky enough to get a visit from 3 of the cheetah we currently have in the reserve! With the busy Easter season just around the corner, all of the rangers are preparing to spend lots of time out in the bush, hopefully helping all of our guests to have some amazing sightings, and a truly special and memorable experience here at Tau.
If there is anything you would like to see here in our Blog, please feel free to add your comments.
All the best, and we are looking forward to meeting/re-meeting you all soon.
